PASTOR’S DESK

Today, activities and materialism have replaced relationship, love and fear of God. As a leader you are bound to be manipulative if your motives are wrong and your focus is on self and ephemera materialism.
It is a very big mistake if you think the pulpit is a place to “make money”. It is a place for service, and of course, God blesses the faithful. Our quest for power, fame, and attention seeking are an embarrassment to heaven and a betrayal of Divine trust. Let us refuse to mortgage our souls no matter how hurting, tempting or “big” we have become. Remember, solid relationship with God and man must be prioritized and pursued above money, fame and materialism. It is very rewarding now and in eternity. If you do this, you shall not fail.
Have a fruitful and blessed August, In Jesus’ Name.
